APPLICATION FOR SPECIAL EXCEPTION WITH CITY COMMISSION APPROVAL SUBJECT TO
COMPLIANCE WITH ZONING ORDINANCE 11000 AND THE CITY CODE, AS AMENDED, AND TO ALL
APPLICABLE CRITERIA, CONSIDERATIONS AND/OR OTHER REGULATIONS.
Pursuant to Ordinance 11000, as amended, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami Florida, the subject proposal
located at 564 SW 42 AVE, Miami, FL, has been submitted, and reviewed to allow application for SPECIAL
EXCEPTION WITH CITY COMMISSION APPROVAL, subject to all applicable criteria.
The existing building is proposing to add helistops in the existing roof area that shall only be used for the landing and
takeoff of helicopters engaged in dropping off or picking up passengers. The permit landings and takeoffs shall be only
between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday.
Note:
Applicant shall be applying FAA standards as set forth in its Advisory Circular 150/5390-2 and NFPA "Standard on
Rooftop Heliport Construction and Protection" (NFPA 418-1979).
REQUEST for SPECIAL EXCEPTION WITH CITY COMMISSION, as per, ARTICLE 9, Section 933, to
allow helistops as conditional accessory uses in the Office designation between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on
Monday through Friday.
