formally approve and authorize the payment in the amount of $1,200;'to Pete
Diaz Productions; Inc:; a Florida for profiticorporation (PDP), for,the provision
of an. electrical generator required to provide'power fora past City sponsored
event which occurred on July 4, 2008 at HadlegPark. The Department of Parks
and Recreation issued a payment'on an existing Purchase Order but was pre,
cluded from paying'an additionafinvoice at that time as it would have exceeded
the $25,000 formalcompetitive•seal bid threshold, as a recommendation and
finding th"at competitive negotiation methods are not practicable or advanta-,

This action is being considered pursuant to the recommendation of the Pur-
chasing Department with respect to compliance with the Code of the City of Mi-

"Pete Diaz Producctions, Inc" una corporaci6n sin fines de
lucro de Florida (PDP), por el suministro de un generador-
electrico requerido para proveer electricidad para los
pasados eventos patrocinados por la Ciudad de Miami el
4 de Julio, del 2008 en el "Hadley Park", El Departamento
de Parques y Recreaci&n emit?) un pago por una Orden de
Compra existente pero fue impedido de pagar una factura
adicional en ese.momento pues hubiera sobrepasado los
$25,000 de limite de una propuesta formal competitive y
sellada, como una recomendaci6n se concluy6 que los
rnetodos de negociacien competitive no son practicables o
beneficiosos a este asunto. Cualquier pregunta en relacion

Esta acci6n este siendo considerada de acuerdo con la

The Miami City Commission will hold a Public Hearing on April 8, 2010 to
formally approve and authorize the payment. in the amount of $1,200. to
Pete Diaz Productions, Inc., a Florida for profit corporation (PDP), for the
provision of an electrical generator required to provide power for a past
City sponsored event which occurred on July 4, 2008 at Hadley Parka
The Department of Parks and Recreation issued a payment on an
existing Purchase Order but was precluded from paying an additional,
invoice at that time as it would have exceeded the $25,000 formal,
competitive sealed bid threshold, as a recommendation and finding than
competitive negotiation methods are not practicable or advantageous
regarding this matter. Inquiries regarding this notice may be addressed

This action is being considered pursuant to the recommendation of the
Purchasing Department with respect to compliance with the Code of the
City of Miami, Florida, as amended. The recommendation and finding to
' be considered in this matter are set forth and incorporated by reference
herein and are available as public records from the City of Miami. The
Public) Hearing will be held in conjunction with the regularly scheduled
City Commission meeting of April 8, 2010 at Miami City Hall, 3500 Pan
American Drive, Miami, Florida.
All interested individuals are invited to attend this hearing and may
