Subject: An Ordinance of the City of Miami amending Chapter 22 of the City Code, more particularly
by amending Article IV, currently entitled "Lot Clearing"
Purpose of Item:
Amending Chapter 22 of the City Code entitled "Garbage and Other Solid Waste", more particularly
by amending Article IV, entitled "Lot Clearing" by amending the title to "Maintenance of Lots",
Clarifying existing language and creating new sections.
Background Information:
This ordinance is to establish a program for identification and registration of vacant lots, establish the
responsibilities of owners of lots and provide for administration, enforcement, and penalties and offer
an appeal process.
