A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE
PROCUREMENT OF THE RENTAL OF TRAILERS, TRUCKS, VANS AND UTILITY
VEHICLES (PRE -QUALIFICATION), FROM VARIOUS VENDORS, ON A
CITYWIDE, AS -NEEDED CONTRACTUAL BASIS, UTILIZING EXISTING
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY CONTRACT NO. 5800-5/17, EFFECTIVE THROUGH
DECEMBER 31, 2012, SUBJECT TO ANY EXTENSIONS AND/OR
REPLACEMENT CONTRACTS BY MIAMI-DADE COUNTY; ALLOCATING FUNDS
FROM THE VARIOUS SOURCES OF FUNDS FROM THE USER DEPARTMENTS
AND AGENCIES, SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS AND
BUDGETARY APPROVAL AT THE TIME OF NEED.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The procurement of the Rental of Trailers, Trucks, Vans and Utility Vehicles
(Pre -Qualification), from various vendors, on a Citywide, as -needed contractual basis, utilizing existing
Miami -Dade County Contract No. 5800-5/17, effective through December 31, 2012, subject to any
extensions and/or replacement contracts by Miami -Dade County, is authorized, with funds allocated
from the various sources of funds from the user departments and agencies, subject to the availability
of funds and budgetary approval at the time of need.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}

Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall
become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
