A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
ACCEPTING THE ATTACHED CITY CLERK'S OFFICIAL CERTIFICATION OF THE
CANVASS AND DECLARATION OF THE RESULTS FOR THE ELECTION
CONDUCTED DURING THE PERIOD OF OCTOBER 15, 2008 THROUGH
NOVEMBER 21, 2008 FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT
DISTRICT AREA TO BE KNOWN AS THE COCONUT GROVE BUSINESS
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT ("BID").
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Commission hereby accepts the attached City Clerk's Official Certification of
the Canvass and Declaration of Results of the City of Miami's Election conducted during the period of
October 15, 2008 hrough November 21, 2008 for the establishment of a special assessment district
area to be known as the Coconut Grove Business Improvement District ("BID").
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
Footnotes:
Acceptance of election results are administrative acts which do not require the Mayor's signature
nor the City Attorney's review and approval.
