A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
MAKING APPROPRIATIONS RELATING TO CAPITAL PROJECTS FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2009; FURTHER AMENDING PRIOR
YEAR APPROPRIATIONS TO CONTINUE PREVIOUSLY APPROVED PROJECTS,
AND DEAPPROPRIATE TRANSIT HALF CENT SURTAX AND LOCAL OPTION
GAS TAX FUNDS FROM CAPITAL TO BE MOVED TO THE STREET BOND DEBT
SERVICE FUND FOR THE STREET BOND DEBT SERVICE PAYMENT.
WHEREAS, new sources of revenues have been identified for capital projects for the Fiscal
Year ending September 30, 2009, and require appropriation into their respective capital funds; and
WHEREAS, the new appropriations are included in the 2008-2009 Multi -Year Capital Plan
which was approved by the City Commission on November 13, 2008, pursuant to Resolution No.
08-0650, with the exception of a few newly received grants and a Special Revenue Contribution to
Capital; and
WHEREAS, the previous appropriations remain authorized to continue previously approved
capital projects; and
WHEREAS, previous appropriations of Homeland Defense/Neighborhood Improvement Bonds
Series 2, Street Bonds, and the Sunshine State Financing Commission Loan funds are being
reallocated within Capital Funds in order to continue previously approved projects; and
WHEREAS, a portion of the Transit Half Cent Surtax and Local Option Gas Tax funds received
in Fiscal Year 2008 are being deappropriated from Capital to be moved to the Street Bond Debt
Service Fund for the Street Bond Debt Service payment; and
WHEREAS, it is now in order to approve appropriations for new sources of revenues for Fiscal
Year 2009 and amend prior year appropriations in Capital Funds based on the following format:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The herein appropriations are hereby made for implementation of municipal capital
improvements of the City of Miami ("City"), for the Fiscal Year ending September 30, 2009. The
herein appropriations are hereby designated by reference to capital fund and sources of revenues.
Descriptive project title and number, when included, are shown for informational purposes only.

Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days
