Goal LU-1
and (7) protects the integrity and quality of the City's existing neighborhoods lm
insuring public notice, input and appellant rights regarding changes in existing zoning
and land use regulations.
Objective LU-1.5 Land development regulations will protect the city's unique natural and
coastal resources, its neighborhoods and its historic and cultural heritage.
Policy LU1-5.3 It shall be the policy of the City of Miami that notice of application for
specialp_ermiits, or other such administrative land use or zoning permits provided for in
future zoning and land use regulations. shall be provided to any NET -registered
homeowner and neighborhood associations fifteen days prior to issuance of the special
permit, or other such administrative land use or zoning permits provided for in future
zoning and land use regulations; and promptly after issuance of the decision, with
explanation of appeal procedure, allowing sufficient lime for such appeals.
It shall be the policy of the City of Miami that notice of applications requiring public
hearing shall be provided to any NET -registered homeowner and neighborhood
associations and to property owners within a certain number of feet as provided for in the
City code.
