Subject: A resolution accepting the proposed plat of 1450 BRICKELL, which is located at the
Northerly corner of Brickell Avenue and Broadway (formerly S.E. 15 Road).
Purpose of Item:
The purpose is for the City Commission to adopt a resolution accepting the plat of 1450 BRICKELL
and approving recording the same in the Public Records of Miami -Dade County, Florida.
Background Information:
The Department of Public Works has reviewed this plat and has determined that it is now in order for
acceptance by the City Commission. The specific intent of this plat is to create two (2) tracts of land
being developed as a single mixed -use parcel of land to consist of a thirty-two (32) story building with
508, 900 square feet of office space, 10, 980 square feet of retail space and 1,285 parking spaces.
The proposed record plat entitled 1450 BRICKELL, which includes the closure and vacation of a
portion of the ingress -egress easement of Tract A of Park Place At Brickell (Plat Book 160 at Page
29), is a replat of the property described in the attached Legal Description. The area platted consists of
two (2) tracts containing approximately 83, 601 square feet (1.92± acres). It is zoned SD-5.
