Tarpun Bay USA, Inc.
1. The Sub -recipient has agreed to create one (1) full time position for every $15,000
in funding to a maximum of six (6) positions. These positions are to be staffed by
residents of the Little Haiti area of the City of Miami. Sub -recipient agrees to
maintain these positions filled with Little Haiti residents for a period of no less
than five (5) years after the completion of the renovation of the property.
2. The City of Miami District 5 Little Haiti Job Creation Pilot Program requires that
buildings that are 50 years old or older will be subject to review by the City of
Miami Planning Department to determine if the facility is of historic or
architectural significance. Buildings that fit those criteria will be subject to the
applicable standards of the State of Florida and /or the Secretary of Interior and,
in connection therewith, the Sub -recipient must engage an architect experienced
in historic preservation for the Work Program.
3. The Sub -recipient has applied for other sources of funds to complete the
renovations to the property. Sub -recipient agrees to provide evidence of
availability of such other funds to make sure that project is completed. City of
Miami agrees to allow Sub -recipient to use City of Miami funds first.
4. The work performed under this Work Program shall be subject to inspection and
approval by the City of Miami.
5. The Sub -recipient agrees to comply with the City of Miami District 5 Little Haiti
Job Creation Pilot Program Guidelines attached to this Agreement as Exhibit A,
as the same may be amended by the City in its sole discretion from time to time.
6. Attached hereto is a Project Timeline detailing the activities that need to be
completed and the completion dates.
7. By signing below, the Sub -recipient hereby acknowledges receipt of the City of
Miami District 5 Little Haiti Job Creation Pilot Program Guidelines.
