As President of the Miami -Dade County Association of Chiefs of Police (MDCACP) for the year 2008- 2009, I look forward to serving the members of this organization and the citizens of Miami -Dade County in the most professional manner possible. I, as well as the other members of the Executive Board, pledge to continue to provide the leadership and guidance the membership has become accustomed O. ogether we must strive to combat crime, correct injustices and protect the citizens and law enforcement officers of Miami -Dade County with the sprit of cooperation and community involvement. Only by all law enforcement agencies working together at the municipal, county, state and Federal level can we, as an organization and a profession, hope to achieve this goal. I encourage all members of MDCACP to participate in this organization and its. endeavors. Only through your efforts and cooperation can this organization achieve its goals and objectives and continue to be at the forefront of law enforcement. As it is with a team, it is the "sum of the parts" that gets the job done so all may benefit. I look forward to being a part of this organization and for your continued support and participation.
