Dear Mr. Foster:
The purpose of this letter is to address the status of the construction in connection with the sites
located at 5852 NW 13`h Ave and 5858 NW 13`h .Ave.
On July 31, 2007, the Quit Claim Deeds between the City of Miami and Foster Construction of
South Florida, Inc. were fully executed. Pursuant to Quit Claim Deeds, Section 8, Foster
Construction is required to commence construction within six (6) months from the date of
conveyance. Currently, the permits are still pending and there is no indication that construction is
imminent Foster Construction of South Florida, Inc has failed to comply, with the terms which
constitute a default under the Quit Claim Deed. As of February 19, 2008, Community
Development made numerous attempts to obtain Development Schedule that were unsuccessful.
City: of Miami and Liberty City Trust have assisted you in every possible way to start this
project.
Please be advised that at the City Commission meeting on October 9, 2008, the Department of
Community Development will request a reversion of the sites located at 5852 NW 13`h Ave and
5858 NW 13'h Ave back to the City of Miami.
