NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on
October 16, 2008, at 9:00 a.m., at Miami City Hall, located at 3500 Pan American Drive,
Miami, Florida, for the purpose of granting the following:
A RESOLUTION, OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO
THE TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT AGREEMENT
("AGREEMENT") BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI ("CITY") AND
FLAGSTONE ISLAND GARDENS ("FLAGSTONE"), ON CITY -OWNED
PROPERTY LOCATED AT WATSON ISLAND, MIAMI, FLORIDA, TO
PROVIDE FOR THE EXPANSION OF THE EASEMENT AREA OF
APPROXIMATELY 10,033 SQUARE FEET OF SUBMERGED LANDS
FOR THE LIMITED PURPOSE OF PROVIDING INGRESS AND
EGRESS TO AND FROM THE SALES AND CONSTRUCTION
OFFICES RELATED TO THE DEVELOPMENT, AS WELL AS
RECONSTRUCTION AND REPAIRS TO THE EXISTING DOCK AND
ALL ASSOCIATED WORK, WITH THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS
MORE PARTICULARLY SET FORTH IN SAID SECOND AMENDMENT.
All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard concerning these items.
Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to
any matter considered at this hearing, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of
the proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal
may be based.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special
accommodations to participate in this proceeding may contact the Office of the City
Clerk at (305) 250-5360 (Voice) no later than two (2) business days prior to the
proceeding or at (305) 250-5472 (TTY) no later than three (3) business days prior to the
proceeding.
