As. per Federal -Government regulations. please be informed that the -City of Miami Police
Department (MPD) intends to submit an application for funds under the 2008 Edward .Byrne
Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Prouat» announced by the US Department of Justice.
Attached is a memorandum, for your signature, also notifying the Mayor and Commissioners of
