Subject: A resolution rescinding Resolution No. R-08-0049, which accepted the proposed plat of
UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI PAC CRB SITE located along the South side of N.W. 14 Street between
N.W. 11 Avenue and N.W. 12 Avenue.
Purpose of Item:
The purpose is for the City Commission to adopt a resolution rescinding Resolution No. R-08-0049,
dated January 24, 2008, which accepted the plat of UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI PAC CRB SITE, and
directing the City Manager to release the Letter of Credit, in the amount of $ 127, 773.00, posted with
the City of Miami for the subdivision improvements at UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI PAC CRB SITE.
Background Information:
On January 24, 2008, the City Commission adopted Resolution No. R-08-0049, accepting the plat of
UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI PAC CRB SITE, and accepting the dedications shown on said plat;
authorizing and directing the City Manager and City Clerk to execute the plat; and providing for the
recordation of said plat in the Public Records of Miami -Dade County, Florida.
After acceptance by the Commission, the said plat was to be recorded within 120 calendar days of its
approval. However, the owner did not proceed to record the plat within the allowed time period.
