A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE
PROCUREMENT OF PAPER, FINE REGISTERED MILL BRANDS, PRIVATE
BRANDS, RECOVERED FIBER CONTENT PAPER (PRINTING/XEROGRAPHIC)
AND RELATED PRODUCTS, FROM VARIOUS VENDORS, UTILIZING
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY CONTRACT NO. 6824-4/12, EFFECTIVE UNTIL APRIL 30,
2009, AND THE PROCUREMENT OF PAPER, OFFICE, VIRGIN AND RECYCLED
CONTENT, FROM VARIOUS VENDORS, UTILIZING STATE OF FLORIDA
CONTRACT NO. 645-120-04-1, EFFECTIVE UNTIL MARCH 27, 2009, SUBJECT
TO ANY EXTENSIONS AND/OR REPLACEMENT CONTRACTS BY MIAMI-DADE
COUNTY AND STATE OF FLORIDA; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE VARIOUS
SOURCES OF FUNDS FROM THE USER DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES,
SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS AND BUDGETARY APPROVAL AT
THE TIME OF NEED.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The procurement of Paper, Fine Registered Mill Brands, Private Brands, Recovered
Fiber Content Paper (Printing/Xerographic) and Related Products, from various vendors, utilizing
Miami -Dade County Contract No. 6824-4/12, effective through April 30, 2009, and the procurement
of Paper, Office, Virgin and Recycled Content, utilizing State of Florida Contract No. 645-120-04-1,
effective through March 27, 2009, from various vendors, subject to any extensions and/or
replacement contracts by Miami -Dade County and the State of Florida, is authorized, with funds
allocated from the various sources of funds from the user departments and agencies, subject to the
availability of funds and budgetary approval at the time of need.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature
of the Mayor.{1}

Footnotes:
{1} This Resolution shall become effective as specified herein unless vetoed by the Mayor within ten
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission or upon the effective date
stated herein, whichever is later.
