The license is for a term of three (3) years that shall commence on the April 15, 2008 to April 14, 2011. The license has annual options to renew subject to mutual consent of the parties and the City providing 90-days prior written notice to renew. Licensee shall not pay a monthly use fee, security deposit or utilities during the term or annual renewals of the License, with additional terms and conditions more particularly set forth in the agreement. Direct° Chief City Manager Page 1 of 2 AGENDA ITEM SUMMARY FORM Subject: License Agreement with Brickell Key Center, Ltd., (Owner), a Delaware Limited Partnership Background Information: The City of Miami Police Department needs space to continue to store its bicycles as part of its bike patrol unit in support of its patrol unit in the south Brickell Key area. The owner, Brickell Key Center limited partnership, has agreed to issue a license agreement to the City of Miami ("City") to use approximately 352 square feet of storage space on the ground floor of the Courvoisier Centre II of its property located at 601 Brickell Key Drive, Miami, Florida. The license agreement is for a 3-year term, with annual options to renew subject to mutual consent of the parties, and the City providing a written request within 90-days prior to the expiration of the term. The City will not pay any monthly fees, will not pay utilities, and will not be required to pay a security deposit during the term or any additional terms. Page 2 of 2
