This letter shall serve as the Applicant's initial letter of intent. The alley in question is approximately 2,439 square feet and is located between NE Miami Place and NE 1st Avenue, and between NE 1.6h Street and NE 17th Street. The property is part of the larger property approved for the Max Miami Major Use Special Permit. One of the conditions of the MUSP approval is that the alley must be closed by plat prior to building permit. On May 1., 2008, the Tentative Plat that is enclosed with this application, was approved by the City of Miarni Plat and Street Committee. In addition, the Committee voted unanimously to recommend approval of the alley closure to the City Commission, based on the requirements for alley closure described in Section 55-15 of the City of Miami Code.
