The City was awarded $55,375 in grant funds and will contribute $158,995 in match funds, for a total project cost of $214,370. Background Information: The City of Miami's Curtis Park Baseball Field is in dire need of renovation and the City wishes to restore its full functionality for residents to enjoy. Baseball has been played at this park for well over a half century and has been the incubator for a number of Major League Baseball players. Curtis Park field is one of only three regulation fields for high school -aged players in the entire Miami Parks Department.
