Invitation For Bid for OEM Parts and Repairs to City Vehicles - Citywide
TO: ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS:
The following changes, additions, clarifications, and deletions amend the Bid Documents of the
above captioned IFB, and shall become an integral part of the Contract Documents. Please note
the contents herein and reflect same on the documents you have on hand.
We have revised the Bid Specifications to include identifying heavy fleet for OEM Parts and
Repairs. Please use the enclosed revised Specifications in place of the original
Specifications provided.
ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE IFB REMAIN THE SAME.

3.0 SPECIFICATIONS (REVISED — 4/8/2008)
3.1 Scope of Work
This solicitation seeks suppliers to provide Manufacturer's Dealer Original Equipment (OEM) Parts and
Service for Light and Heavy Fleet Body, Engines, Transmissions, etc. per the requirements of this IFB. No
"Approved Equal" parts will be allowed or considered.
3.2 PARTS AND DEALER LOCATIONS
The City reserves the right to acquire parts from Successful Bidders based on location, availability of
parts and who provides more frequent delivery service over once daily.
The City reserves the right to pick-up critically needed parts itself at the most conveniently located dealer
geographically.
3.3 NUMBER OF AWARDED DEALERS:
3.3.1 While the City will award Dealers complying with the provisions of the Special Conditions at the
inception of this IFB and in accordance with the number of dealers listed below, it reserves the right to add
vendors to this contract at any point throughout the term of the contract.
3.3.2 The following is the anticipated Number of Dealers to be Awarded by Manufacturer's Brand.
However, based upon the responses to this IFB, bidders awarded by Brand may be more, or less, than those
indicated below.

The City reserves the right to add or delete manufacturer's brands or adjust the number of awarded vendors
by manufacturer's brand upwards or downwards at any time, as may be in its best interest during the life of
this contract.
