The Use Agreement does not expire until June 21, 2010. After the City and the University were unable to reach an agreement for the redevelopment of the Orange Bowl, in August, 2007 the University announced that it would be moving to the Dolphin Stadium effective with the 2008 football season and they requested to terminate their Use Agreement at the Orange Bowl. Simultaneously with the termination of this Use Agreement, the University has agreed to an early relinquishment of its interest in its lease with the City at the James L. Knight Conference Center.
