Bayshore Drive to the North. Purpose of Item: The purpose is for the City Commission to adopt a resolution rescinding Resolution No. 06-0607, adopted October 12, 2006, and substituting for it a resolution accepting the proposed plat of BANKS SUBDIVISION. Background Information: On October 12, 2006, the City Commission adopted Resolution No. R-06-0607, accepting the plat of BANKS SUBDIVISION, and accepting the dedications shown on said plat; authorizing and directing the City Manager and City Clerk to execute the plat; and providing for the recordation of said plat in the Public Records of Miami -Dade County, Florida. After acceptance by the City Commission, the said plat was forwarded to Miami -Dade County for recording. However, the updated opinion of title required by Miami -Dade County revealed that the owners transferred the title to a portion of the property encompassed by the plat. Subsequently, the two new owners joined in the dedication of the plat by executing the plat on April 2, 2007 and the new mortgagee consented to the plat and joined its dedications by executing the plat on August 22, 2007. In accordance with City Code 55-6, these changes/ revisions to the plat require a new plat approval from the City Commission. Budget Impact Analysis NO Is this item related to revenue?
