HomeMy WebLinkAboutLetterScattered Sites Infill Program The City of Miami is looking for qualified developers/contractors to develop approximately 18 vacant lots in District 5 within the next 6 months. Developers / contractors are required to send a letter of interest for consideration. Letter of Interest The letter of interest should be addressed to: Ms. Barbara Gomez -Rodriguez, Director Department of Community Development 444 SW 2' Avenue, 2" Floor Miami, Florida 33130 It should contain the following information: 1. The site(s) of interest. No single developer will be given more than 5 sites 2. The type of property to be constructed on the site, including the square footage under air, the number of bedrooms, number of bathrooms and number of car garages, if any. 3. Proof of constructing homes of similar type in the last two years. 4. A copy of the plan of the proposed house to be constructed on the site 5. Proof that the plan has been approved as a cookie cutter by the City of Miami building. department cookie cutter (developers or contractors with approved cookie cutters will be given preference) 6. The projected cost and sale price of the house. 7. Proposed construction schedule (from date of transfer) 8. Proof of financing availability. The following will be accepted as proof: a. A commitment letter from a financial institution conditioned on your ability to secure the lots. Non FDIC insured institutions should show their ability to provide such financing. b. The latest audited (or non -audited, if audited is not available) business financial statement showing current resources enough to complete the construction of the home. c. A personal financial statement with a copy of the latest tax return indicating that the principal has enough assets to complete the construction. d. Any other proof showing the availability of funding will be considered provided it can be verified through a third party. Selection of Developers Developers will be selected based on the following factors: a. Financing ability b. Sales price per square foot under air c. Experience d. Time of completion.
