MNI provides design, manufacture, installation and test services for multiple hop Public Safety
microwave networks in loop protected, star and linear configurations. Turnkey microwave networks
include antennas systems, DC power systems, digital cross connects, loop -protection switches, and
both asynchronous and SONET multiplexers as well as other support equipment. Motorola's
current level of purchasing is approximately $4M per year in product and services.

Extensive 2 GHz to 6 GHz PCS relocation for an 80 hop hybrid system which included analog,
digital and leased line products. The CM6 radio was the product of choice for this project. MNI
provided full EFBI for the complete business solution with civil to include towers, buildings and
shelters at eight sites and radios at 24 sites. All equipment was delivered on schedule and MNI
continues to support the project with technical and engineering resources.

MNI provides and tests CM6/11 microwave equipment for M.I.E.M.S.S. in support of their statewide
E911 and telecommunications system. M.I.E.M.S.S. provides or contracts their own services to
implement communications infrastructure for emergency responders across the state. MNI
supports M.I.E.M.S.S. with not only equipment but also telephone technical support to ensure that
systems are implemented and supported smoothly. Current level of purchasing from MNI is
between $1 M and $1.5M per year.

S.M.E.P.A has jiist implemented a turnkey system comprised of more than 20 hops of CM series
radios. MNI has acted as the Prime Contractor and provided equipment and installation services
for this system. MNI also currently has orders for additional equipment and services related to this
system.

Alabama Electric Cooperative is in the process of a "phased implementation" of a statewide
communications network. MNI is supplying hardware for the backbone of the system which is
mainly designed with the CM series radio in a 3-DS3 capacity in rural areas and the SONET version
in metropolitan areas for seamless integration with their higher order fiber networks. Current
purchasing levels of CM product are just under $1 M per year.
