Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the conveyance of one (1) city owned property located at 1477 NW 60mStreet, Miami, Florida, to Palmetto Homes of Florida, Inc., for the development of affordable housing. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the conveyance of one (1) city owned property, referred to as Orchard Villa, located at 1371 NW 6151 Street, Miami, FL, to Miami's River of Life, Inc., for the development of a transitional independent living facility for female youth aging out of Florida's foster care systems. • The adoption of this Ordinance/Resolution, by the City Commission, authorizes the City Managerto amend the appropriate City of Miami annual Action Plan. 1 This amendment(s) will be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment period begins Tuesday, April 8, 2008 and ends Wednesday, May 7, 2008. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to City Commission for approval on Thursday, May 8, 2008 (public hearing). 1 Draft copies will be available during the public comment period al the City of Miami Department of Community Development office located at 444 SW 2nd Avenue, 2nd Floor, Miami, Florida, 33130. Comments to the amendments must be submitted in writing to: 444 SW 2nd Avenue, 2nd Floor, Miami, Florida, 33130: Attn: Mykeahia A. Colmar, and must be received no later than May', 2008. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to the handicapped.
