Steel:
All Metal -Form tables and benches tops utilize 11 gauge perforated steel, the ash urns and
waste containers utilize 14 gauge perforated steel with a 1/2" hole size (before coating).
The steel used in all Metal -Form products conforms to ASTM A 569/A 569M standards.
All steel is pretreated and cleaned before Metal -Armor coating is applied to assure maximum
adhesion.
Tubing:
Metal -Form framework utilizes Allied Tubes, Flo -Coat tubing in a 2 inch diameter, 12 gauge
version. The Flo -coat galvanizing process along with our special powder coatings assure you
of maximum rust protection and durability.
The tubing meets ASTM A-569 for structural tube - The Zinc coating conforms to ASTM B-6
high grade and special grade zinc.
Testing:
1. Salt Spray Test: ASTM-B-117 specifications - 5% salt spray fog at 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
The first signs of rust accured after 840 hours.

Tubing continued:
2. Weatherometer Testing: Weathering test is evaluated using a xenon light source
(ASTM G-26). Random samples are suggested to alternate exposure of ultraviolet
light and darkness at controlled temperature and humidity. Samples are examined
at regular intervals until 1000 hours of exposure are evaluated.
3. Flexural and Tensile strength testing is performed to assure conformance to all
pertinent ASTM standards.
All Metal -Form framework goes through an extensive process for protection, appearance and
durability, this unique process is listed below.
1. Cold -formed steel tubing includes internal corrosion resistant coating for protection
in a variety of environmental conditions.
2. The steel exterior is further protected with a galvanized steel coating of 99.99%
pure zinc.
3. A chromate conversion coating on top of the zinc provides further rust protection.
4. A dear organic coating seals in rust protection and also acts as a primer for the
final powder coating.
5. The baked on powder coating resists mildew, fungus, staining and adds high gloss
color to the product. A special UV inhibitor in the powder coat helps prevent color
fading from the sun.
Cast Aluminum Components:
1. Cast Aluminum Tops: Cast in 319 aluminum alloy and manufactured from sand
casting molds which conform to Federal Specifications A-596d.
2. Cast Aluminum Safety Crowns: Cast in 356 aluminum alloy which conforms to
Federal Specifications A-596d.
