Purpose of Item: Requesting the City Commission to authorize an additional 120 day period to negotiate a final agreement between the Bayfront Park Management Trust (Trust) and Live Nation Worldwide, Inc., (Live Nation) for the management and operation of the Bayfront Park Amphitheater pursuant to Resolution No. 07-13397. Background Information: The City of Miami Purchasing Department issued RFLI 44014 for the management and operation of the Bayfront Park Amphitheater on August 21, 2007. Proper City of Miami procurement procedures ensued and culminated with the City Commission adopting Resolution No. 07-013397 on January 10, 2008, authorizing the Trust to negotiate an agreement with Live Nation within 90 days or April 10, 2008. At this time, negotions are progressing well but a final agreement will not be reached in this 90 day window. The Trust and the City Attorney's office respectfully request an additional 120 days to negotiate a final agreement or by August 10, 2008. Budget Impact Analysis YES Is this item related to revenue?
