Oversee Supported Employment and ADT-Off site programs. Purpose of supported employment
services is to assist consumers in obtaining and sustaining community based employment. Ensure
adherence to Medicaid Waiver guidelines. Work with Florida Department of Education Vocational
Rehabilitation Unit to maintain contract to provide services and obtain referrals. Supervision of
employment consultants whose responsibilities include job development, job placement, on-the-job
training, and coordinating job related services. Conduct screenings, interviews, and intakes of potential
consumers. Maintain a partial caseload in addition to supervisory duties. Help consumers to create
Employment plans that identify work related goals and the services provided to assist in achieving them.
Conduct chart audits, verify the documentation of services, prepare case notes, monthly summaries, and
reports on progress towards IPP goals, and authorization for services to be provided.

and expanded preschool educational services to include home based services in addition to

Employment, developed Supported Living program for young adults to live in their own
apartments and expanded residential program to include ICF/DD cluster homes, a group home
for medically fragile infants, and additional home for adults and adolescents throughout Dade
County; Promoted to Executive Director in 1997.
