A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ACCEPTING THE BID
RECEIVED JANUARY 28, 2008, PURSUANT TO INVITATION FOR BID NO.
70048, FOR THE PROVISION OF TAPE CARTRIDGES FOR THE DEPARTMENT
OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, ON AN AS -NEEDED CONTRACT BASIS, FOR
AN INITIAL PERIOD OF TWO (2) YEARS, WITH THE OPTION TO RENEW FOR
THREE (3) ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR PERIODS; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM
THE VARIOUS SOURCES OF FUNDS FROM THE USER DEPARTMENT AND
AGENCIES, SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS AND BUDGETARY
APPROVAL AT THE TIME OF NEED.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received January 28, 2008, pursuant to Invitation for Bid No. 70048, for the
provision of Tape Cartridges for the Department of Information Technology, on an as -needed contract
basis, for an initial period of two (2) years, with the option to renew for three (3) additional one-year
periods, is accepted, with funds allocated from the various sources of funds from the user department
and agencies, subject to the availability of funds and budgetary approval at the time of need.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}

Footnotes:
{1} This Resolution shall become effective as specified herein unless vetoed by the Mayor within ten
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission or upon the effective date
stated herein, whichever is later.
