Discussion and proposed resolution waiving the conflict of interest provisions in section 2-612 of the City Code to allow the City
of Miami Department of Community Development to enter into an agreement with Neighbors and Neighbors Association, Inc. for
special economic development activities — commercial rehabilitation of the properties located at 5861 and 5841 NW 171h Avenue,
Miami, Florida.
Waiving the conflict of interest provisions in section 2-612 of the City Code to allow the City of Miami Department of Community
Development to enter into an agreement with Community Development Group MIA Corp. for the conveyance of two parcels of
land located at 5435 NW 1 m Avenue and 5515 NW 151 Court, Miami, Florida, for the development of affordable housing.
Authorizing the conveyance of certain City of Miami owned parcels in Liberty City to various developers for the construction of
affordable housing.
Authorizing the conveyance of property located at 6200 and 6201 NW 17t" Avenue to Carrfour Supportive Housing, Inc..for the
construction of affordable housing.
Amending the Affordable Housing Trust Fund guidelines to define and include essential services personnel and workforce
housing.
Designating funds, in the amount of $2,000,000.00, from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund, to implement the Workforce
Housing Down Payment Assistance Program.
* The adoption of this Ordinance/Resolution, by the City Commission, authorizes the City Manager to amend the appropriate City of Miami annual Action Plan.
t This amendment(s) will be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment period begins Tuesday, February 12,
2008 and ends Wednesday, March 12, 2008. The proposed amendment(s) wit be presented to City Commission for approval on Thursday, March 13, 2008 (public hearing).
