Background Information: The Police Department created four (4) new Crystal Reports for the purpose of allowing officers, investigators, and commanders to view and print reports generated via the Field Based Reporting System without having to use the Mobile Digital Computers (MDC) or Law Records Management System. The Crystal Reports XI R2 Windows CPU License is necessary to upgrade our current license from "restricted" to "unrestricted" allowing us to receive direct support from Business Objects Americas. Business Objects Americas is the sole source manufacturer of Business Objects Enterprise, Crystal Enterprise and Crystal Reports and the only company providing maintenance and support for these products.
