The new reports are: 1. FBR ALL REPORTS: Shows list of all reports entered via FBR. 2. FBR REPORT BY CASE NUMBER: Shows specific reports based on the case number(s). 3. FBR REPORT BY SIGNAL AND DATE RANGE: Shows specific reports based on the signal type and date range. 4. FBR REPORTS BY DATE RANGE: Shows all reports submitted within a specified date range. The reports are available via the Miami Police Department's intranet website or by clicking on the below link. http:/lmpdneticl /rassamples/en/asp/rPortfolio/reportListing.asp?folder=dirmgr%5Fconnect%5Foptons%3D%2223%22% 2Cisremotedoc%3D%221%22_ %2CRath%o3-D%22 C%o3A%5CMiami+PD+Re -orts%5CFBR+REPORTS%o22%o2C _ ro id%o3D%o 22CrystalAnalysis%2ELocalReportMgr%2E2%22&name=FBR+REPORTS *** FBR — FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS *** 1. WHEN ARE THE FBR REPORTS AVAILABLE TO BE VIEWED AND/OR PRINTED: The report is available on the Report Application Server & Law Records Management System (LRMS) as soon as it has been approved by the submitting officer's supervisor. In addition, the officers have the ability to print the report from their vehicle to any printer in the department at any time. For example, if a Domestic Violence detective requests a copy of the report, the officer can print the report from his/her vehicle and the detective will receive the report on their unit printer. 2. CAN REPORTS BE LOST OR DISAPPEAR INTO "CYBERSPACE"? Over the past 4 months, over 390 reports have been created via FBR. Other than individual officer mistakes (Typically Using the Wrong case#), no reports have been lost. In addition to the reports being transmitted directly to the records unit, the officers have the ability to print copies of reports for themselves, investigators, and commanders at any time. 3. WHEN WILL THE SYSTEM BE LIVE, WHEN SHOULD MY OFFICERS BEGIN USING FBR? The system is live and in use now. Every officer, with a working MDC or who works the front desk, should be generating their reports via the FBR system. An updated list of trained personnel will be distributed in the near future. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions concerning the FBR system. Sean MacDonald Sergeant Miami Police Department I.T.
