A Resolution accepting the bid of Flight Management Systems, for the purchase and installation
of GPS Mapping Display Equipment and Software for the Police Department's Aviation Unit.
Funding is available from the 2006 Justice Assistance Grant.
HOW IS THIS ITEM GOING TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF SERVICE TO THE

The GPS Mapping Display Equipment and Software will be installed in the police helicopter to
provide detailed daytime pictures of target addresses on the ground to assist ground units.
