Subject: Fire Sprinkler Repairs and Pump Replacement Services at the Fire Training Center
Purpose of Item:
A resolution of the Miami City Commission, accepting the Bid of CT Fire Protection, Inc., pursuant
to Invitation for Bid No. 66032, for the provision of Fire Sprinkler Repair and Pump Replacement
Services at the Fire Training Center, for a total contract amount not to exceed $72, 500; allocating
funds from PTAEO 40-B32807.02.1105.Construction.181000.
Background Information:
The Fire -Rescue Department has identified a need to procure services for Fire Sprinkler Repairs and
Pump Replacement at the Fire Training Center. As required by the Procurement Code, the Request
for Formal Solicitation was advertised, and two (2) bids were received in response to IFB 66032.
CT Fire Protection, Inc., submitted the lowest responsive, responsible bid and is therefore
recommended for award.
