A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE
ALLOCATION OF FUNDS, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $1,500, TO THE DR.
MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. PARADE AND FESTIVITIES COMMITTEE, INC. TO
CO-SPONSOR THE 31 ST ANNUAL DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. PARADE AND
FESTIVITIES TO BE HELD ON MONDAY, JANUARY 21, 2008; ALLOCATING
FUNDS FROM THE DISTRICT 4 SPECIAL EVENTS BUDGET, ACCOUNT NO.
001000.921054.6.289.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The allocation of funds, in an amount not to exceed $1,500, to the Dr. Martin Luther
King Jr. Parade and Festivities Committee, Inc. to co-sponsor the 31 st Annual Dr. Martin Luther King
Jr. Parade and Festivities to be held on Monday, January 21, 2008; with funds allocated from the
District 4 Special Events Budget, Account No. 001000.921054.6.289.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}
Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
