MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. PARADE AND FESTIVITIES COMMITTEE, INC. TO CO-SPONSOR THE 31 ST ANNUAL DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. PARADE AND FESTIVITIES TO BE HELD ON MONDAY, JANUARY 21, 2008; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE DISTRICT 4 SPECIAL EVENTS BUDGET, ACCOUNT NO. 001000.921054.6.289. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The allocation of funds, in an amount not to exceed $1,500, to the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade and Festivities Committee, Inc. to co-sponsor the 31 st Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade and Festivities to be held on Monday, January 21, 2008; with funds allocated from the District 4 Special Events Budget, Account No. 001000.921054.6.289. Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.{1} APPROVED AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS: JORGE L. FERNANDEZ CITY ATTORNEY Footnotes: {1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted.
