Subject: Additional services to the Museum Park Master Plan Scope of Work and Fees.
Purpose of Item:
Resolution authorizing an increase in the amount of the negotiated professional services agreement
with Cooper Robertson and Partners LLP for additional services required for the Master Planning to
the Museum Park Project. Increasing the total by $185,005.00 to an amount not to exceed
$1,585,000.00, authorizing the City Manager to execute an amendment to the agreement in
substantially the attached form.
Background Information:
The City of Miami entered an "agreement" with Cooper Rbertson and Partners to develop a master
plan for Museum Park pursuant to resolution 05-0113 on February 24, 2005, amended by resolution
06-0082 adopted on February 9, 2006 for an amount not to exceed $1,399,995. Additional services
needed to complete the project requires an increase of the amount from $1,399,995 to an amount not
to exceed to $1,585,000. Eighty Five Thousand Five Dollars ($85,000.00 from account
00001.351000.53100 and One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00 from CIP Project No.
B30538

Purpose and Item:
Resolution authorizing an increase in the amount of the negotiated professional services
agreement with Cooper Robertson and Partners LLP for additional services required for
the Master Planning to the Museum Park Project. Increasing the total by $185,005.00 to
an amount not to exceed $1,585,000.00, authorizing the City Manager to execute an
amendment to the agreement in substantially the attached form. The additional services
include public meetings to confirm the park program, value engineer elements, prepare a
revised Design Development document, cost estimate, and continue project management
services as fully listed on Amended Exhibit "A-2".
