The Orange Bowl Stadium has been in existence for 70 years and many City officers, officials and employees as members of the community have fond memories of the Orange Bowl Stadium and would like to purchase memorabilia from the Orange Bowl Stadium. Section 2-612 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, prohibits a City officer, official and employee from entering into any contract or transacting any business with the City or any person or agency acting for the City. Pursuant to Section 2-614 of the City Code, the City Commission may waive such prohibitions after determining that such transaction is in the best interest of the City. The City will benefit by the additional sales to City officers, officials and employees through the generation of additional income pursuant to its agreement with Mounted Memories. Paee 2 of 2
