The Successful Proposer, and the outdoor Marquee Sign and services provided, must meet, or
exceed, each of the following:
1. Electronic Marquee Sign shall be state-of-the-art, easily maintainable, and easy to
use.
2. Successful Proposer shall be responsible for obtaining all permits and approvals from
all regulatory agencies, as applicable. Shall be responsible, and pay for any permits
and/or licenses for installation of the Marquee and for any and all related electrical
work and/or permitting to provide required electrical work to allow Marquee to be
connected into the Park's electrical system by the Park's electrician.
3. The location of the Marquee shall be at the location of the existing Marquee, in
Bayfront Park, adjacent to the intersection or NE 2nd Street and Biscayne Boulevard,
4. Marquee shall be a minimum of 21 feet high by six feet, three inches wide by two feet
deep at the base. The Marquee display shall be a minimum of five feet nine inches
high by 14 feet, nine inches wide, subject to legal requirements.
5. Successful Proposer shall provide all labor, materials, and supervision for the
installation and maintenance of the Marquee. Successful Proposer shall also be
responsible for the removal and disposal of the existing marquee, at its cost.
6. Provide an acceptable warranty for the Marquee for a minimum of five (5) years.
7. Shall maintain sufficient insurance coverage, as determined by the City's Risk
Management, for the installation and maintenance, listing the City and the Trust as
Additional Insureds.
8. Shall be able to provide cost for master electrician and all labor costs (i.e. electrician,
helper, journeyman, etc), and supplies (temporary wires, cables, outlets, etc.),
including but not limited to, upgrading all electrical infrastructure to support the
Marquee, if applicable.
9. Upon execution of a contract, it is anticipated the Successful Proposer shall have the
Marquee Sign installed and operating within one hundred (120) days.
10. Successful Proposer shall solicit sponsorship and advertising for placement on the
Marquee Sign, from which an agreed upon portion of the revenues generated shall be
remitted to the Trust.
11. Successful Proposer shall be responsible for the operation and updating of
information on the Marquee Sign including information provided by the Trust or the
City.
12. The Trust will consider Proposals from Proposers for the installation, operation and
maintenance of a Marquee, should a Proposer propose an alternate solution(s) for
Marquee that may be in the Trust and City's best interests.
13. Successful Proposer must provide to the Trust before installation of the marquee sign
copies of schematic diagrams, blueprints, drawings, as -built plans, permits, and
operating manual(s).
