Background Information: The Department of Parks and Recreation needs to replace the old show mobile, which is 25 years old and in disrepair, in order to meet the continued demand of the many special events and other public gatherings requiring a stage. On August 29, 2007, the Purchasing Department issued an Invitation for Bids No. 32088. As required by the Procurement Code, the IFB was advertised. Bids were due and only one (1) bid was received on September 24, 200'7. Century Industries, LLC, submitted the only responsive and responsible bid and is therefore recommended for award.
