The estimated cost of the Project is $75,250 and the City will apply for funding in the amount of $37,625 to be matched by an equal amount of City funds from the proceeds of Homeland Defense Bonds, Series 2, City-wide Waterfront Improvement. The item includes language by Rule 66B-2, Florida Administrative Code, for grant submittal to the Waterways Assistance Program. Background Information: In 2005, after an expressed public need for non -motorized recreational boating accessibility at Sewell Park, the City applied for and was awarded funding for Phase I of the Sewell Park Kayak Launch Project. The City is now ready for Phase II of the installation of the Kayak Launch and is applying for funding to complete this Project. Budget Impact Analysis YES Is this item related to revenue?
