Miami -Dade County is diverse community, and I look tow optimistically, with a spirit of unit as we work together to preserve th( professionalism expected by our ci will proactively confront the challenges brought about by the vast As you may know, Miami -Dade County is the largest county in th United States with a population of over 2 million and a yearly infl million tourists. Although these figures help create the unique mI: environment that attracts millions of visitors to Miami -Dade Cour law enforcement challenges are presented, of which can only be a strong alliances within the law enforcement community. We must willingness to improve at the pace of the world. That is why I vo\ utilization of innovative crime fighting strategies, state-of-the-art comprehensive legislative policies and general information sharin members. Moreover, we will continue to actively engage the sup enforcement entities, legislative bodies and community organizati organization's initiatives. Lastly, I wish to extend a special thank, worked so diligently to support MDCACP activities and events. I continued support and thank you for the opportunity to serve this in this capacity as President. Note: Thomas E. Hunker has dedicated the past 35 years to the h profession, of which 28 years were spent at the Miami Beach Poli has devoted much of his career to the enforcement and prosecutio traffickers while focusing the latter part of his career on law enfor administration. After his retirement from the Miami Beach Police spent four years at the North Miami Beach Police Department as t Commander in charge of investigations.
