expansion and renovation projects at a number of
airports including Miami International Airport, Palm
Beach International Airport, FL. Lauderdale -

Mr. Serig served as a project architect for an
Improvements Bid Package for Pan American
Airlines. Concourse 'F' at Miami International Airport.
The improvements package included planning a total
furniture package, designing and detailing
specific user -oriented equipment and fixtures,
designing passenger service desks, flight
information display systems, LE.D, sign age and
graphics and custom furnishing and lighting. He was
also the project manager for a remodeling and
renovation of Concourse 'B' at Miami international
Airport, which converted gates 82 and 84 from
domestic to international use while maintaining the
use of the gates for domestic flights.
He served as project architect for Pan AM's 10,000
square -foot Ground Services Equipment and
Mail/Cargo Facilities. This project included Three
vehicle service and maintenance bays with support
shops and offices, bulk mail 1 staging and storage
areas and a shipping receiving area. As project
architect. he also directed the design and
documentation of Pan Am's 3,000 square -foot Agent
Coordination and Meal Top -Off facilities. which
included a flight kitchen and flight agent computer
room.
Mr. Serig also directed the design of a 13,5000

square -foot Rarnp Services Facility for Pan American
Airlines at Miami international airport, which include
offices, training rooms, lodkers and assembly areas.
He provided various schemes for approval, prepared
all documentation and managed the project through
construction administration.
Mr. Seri& was the design architect for the Palm Beach
international Airport south side F.I.S. facility for U.S.
Customs and Immigration. He also served as project
manager for the FAR Part 107, security
improvements and communications remodeling of the
airport's Communications & Central Control facility
and the Airport Operations offices.
He also participated in the preparation of conceptual
designs for the Kansas City International Airport
terminal area master plan and the L.B. Pearson
international Airport sign age and graphics package in
Toronto, Canada.
Mr. Seri& was involved in the planning, programming
and design of the new 52,000 square -foot FIS facility
and commuter terminal expansion at Fort Myers,
Florida, and later as project manager, completed the
design documentation and construction administration
for the project.
Mr. Seri& served as the project manager for several
terminal renovation projects for U.S. Air at Fort
Lauderdale -Hollywood International Airport which
included removal of six passenger loading bridges at
concourses "C" and "F"_ gate modifications,
installation of three new apron drive units and three
refurbished radial drive bridges. The work involved
design, documentation and construction
administration of structural foundations, pre-
conditioned air, 400 Hz ground power, apron marking,
safety and maintenance of traffic plans.
He served as project designer for a two story 28,400

square foot administration building for the Palm
Beach County Water Ufil,.ties Department. The facility
included offices. classroorris/training rooms, computer
room, telemetry control room, conference areas,
lounges and an administrative wing.
Mr. Seri& served as the field architect for the
construction and administration ..,f a 214,000 square -
foot cargo building at Miami International Airport. The
project requires extensive coordination with four other
ongoing and adjacent construction projects, landside
and air side construction, roof top parking, aircraft
apron construction and coordination with numerous
regulatory agencies.
Mr. Seri& is presently the project manager of the D-E-
F Wrap Terminal Expansion Package WC" project at
Miami International Airport which includes the
relocation of concession space. addition of a fourth
terminal level, additional FIS space and new building
construction onto the existing apron between
concourses "D" to "E" and "E" to "F." Total project
duration is expected to be seven to eight years from
program verification/design through construction
administration at an estimated cost of over $ 330
million.
