A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION PURSUANT TO SECTION
4-3 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED,
AUTHORIZING THE EXTENSION OF THE HOURS OF SALE FOR ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES FOR CONSUMPTION AT KARU & Y RESTAURANT, LOCATED AT
71 NORTHWEST 14TH STREET, MIAMI, FLORIDA, FOR THE NEW YEAR'S
EVE PARTY, BEING HELD ON MONDAY, DECEMBER 31, 2007, THEREBY
EXTENDING THE HOURS ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 1, 2008, FROM 5:00 A.M.
TO 7:00 A.M.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The extension of the hours of sale for alcoholic beverages for consumption,
pursuant to Section 4-3 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, at Karu & Y
Restaurant, located at 71 Northwest 14th Street, Miami, Florida, for the New Year's Eve Party,
being held on Monday, December 31, 2007, thereby extending the hours on Tuesday, January 1,
2008, from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., is authorized.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature
of the Mayor.{1}
Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall
become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
