NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on
November 9, 2007 at 9:00 AM at City Hall, located at 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami,
Florida, for the purpose of considering the following resolution:
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, BY A FOUR -
FIFTHS (4/5THS) AFFIRMATIVE VOTE, AFTER AN ADVERTISED
PUBLIC HEARING, RATIFYING, APPROVING AND CONFIRMING
THE CITY MANAGER'S FINDING, PURSUANT TO SECTION 18-85
OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED,
WAIVING THE REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPETITIVE BIDDING
PROCEDURES FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF BANKING
SERVICES -CITYWIDE; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH
WACHOVIA BANK N.A., EXTENDING THE TERM ON A MONTH
TO MONTH BASIS, EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 1, 2007, UNDER THE
SAME TERMS, CONDITIONS, AND PRICES OF THE CURRENT
AGREEMENT, UNTIL ISSUANCE OF A NEW REQUEST FOR
PROPOSALS, AWARD OF THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS TO
THE SUCCESSFUL PROPOSER, EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT,
AND BANKING SYSTEM INTERFACES ARE COMPLETED.
All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard concerning this item.
Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to
any matter considered at this hearing, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of
the proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon any appeal may be
based.
In accordance with the American with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special
