Background Information: The Purchasing Department has identified a need to establish a contract for Stretchers and Accessories. On August 24, 2007, the Purchasing Department issued Invitation to Bids No. 38043. As required by the Procurement Code, the IFB was advertised and issued on-line. Bids were due,and one (1) bid was received on September 12, 2007. Henry Schein Matrx Medical, submitted the only responsive and responsible bid and is therefore recommended for award.
