The free standing/Monopole is owned by Nextel as principal carrier, and Verizon Wireless will be added as a second carrier. The existing 100 feet freestanding/monopole facility currently has a side setback of 7 feet as opposed to the required 20 feet. Pursuant to Zoning Ordinance 11000; as amended, Supplement 14, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami, Florida, the subject proposal for NEXTEL MIAMI NORTH/VERIZON WIRELESS No. 68273 at 145 N.E. 201H STREET, Miami, Florida, has been .submitted and reviewed to allow an application for Special Exception Permit, subject to all applicable criteria; SPECIAL EXCEPTION, as per Article 9, Section 949.3, Rcquirement4, limitations standards and criteria for review of Personal Wireless Service Facilities within specified ;zoning district, to allow modification to an existing freestanding/monopole facility by City Commission approval; SPECIAL EXCEPTION, as per Article 11, Section 1106.1, Structural change, extension, or expansion, criteria, to allow modification or enlargement not to exceed a heigl'i of fifty (50) percent in the vertical dimension of an existing freestanding/monopole facility; This SPECIAL EXCEPTION PERMIT encompasses the following Special Perna_its; CLASS I SPECIAL PERMIT, as per ARTICLE 9, Section 927. Temporary structures, occupancies, and uses during construction, criteria for special permits, to allow temporary structures, occupancies, and uses reasonably necessary for construction such as construction fence, covered walkway and if encroaching public property must be approved by other city departments; CLASS I SPECIAL PERMIT, as per ARTICLE 9, Section 918, Sub-S::ction 918.2.
