The grant awarded by the Department of Environmental Protection provides for total funding in the amount of $50,000 with a local match of an equal amount being funded by the City of Miami for developing the Virginia Key Master Plan. Part of the cost of the Master Plan currently under negotiation will serve to satisfy the required City funding match so that no additional funding will need to be earmarked, Page 2 of 2
