Subject: Purchase for Park Signage
Purpose of Item:
The nature of this item is to establish a contract for Park Signage from Contract Connection, Inc., for
an initial contract period of two (2) years with the option to renew for three (3) additional one-year
periods, allocating funds from the various sources of funds of the user department, subject to the
availability of funds and budget approval at time of need.
Background Information:
The Purchasing Department has identified a need to establish a contract for Park Signage. On July 31,
2007, the Purchasing Department issued Invitation to Bids No. 32013. As required by the
Procurement Code, the IFB was advertised and issued on-line. Bids were due and one (1) bid was
received on August 22, 2007. Contract Connection, Inc., submitted the only responsive and
responsible bid and is therefore recommended for award.
