HomeMy WebLinkAboutLegislationCity of Miami Legislation Resolution City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www,miamigov.com File Number: 07-01105A Final Action Date: A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), APPROVING THE LIBERTY CITY COMMUNITY REVITALIZATION PROPOSED BUDGET AND ANNUAL PLAN, IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,806,318.11, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 2007 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2008. WHEREAS, the Miami City Commission approved and adopted the Liberty City Community Revitalization Trust ("Trust") pursuant to Ordinance No. 12859, 'as amended; and WHEREAS, the Trust is responsible for the oversight and facilitation of the City of Miami's revitalization and redevelopment activities in the Liberty City area; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 12.15-35 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, requires a budget, pertaining to the management, operations, maintenance and capital expenditures for the Trust, be approved by the City Commission; and WHEREAS, the Liberty City Trust Board of Directors adopted the attached budget for the Fiscal Year ending September 30, 2008; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The Trust's proposed Budget and Annual Plan, in the amount of $1,806,318.11, for the fiscal year commencing October 1, 2007 and ending September 30, 2008, attached and incorporated, is approved. Section 3.
