It is the responsibility of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Six to order the signs for the newly designated roadways within Miami -Dade County. The Department needs a signed Resolution from the municipality in which the facility is located before the signs can be ordered. The request for this Resolution is required to come from the Sponsor of the renamed facility. In order to assist you in requesting the Resolution, we have enclosed a Sample Resolution and we have sent a copy of this letter to Mr. Pedro G. Hernandez, City Manager of the City of Miami.
